Introduction

Thooriga Art Studio ("we," "us," "our," also operating as "Arty") is committed to getting every handmade piece to you safely and on time. Because each item is handcrafted by our artisans in Chennai, we've partnered with Shiprocket — a leading pan-India shipping aggregator — to give you reliable, trackable delivery across the country, no matter which city or town you're in.

Definitions

●      Business Day: Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays and public holidays observed in Tamil Nadu.

●      Dispatch: The moment our courier partner scans and physically picks up your package from our studio, as reflected in the Shiprocket tracking system.

●      Delivery Date: The date shown as "Delivered" in the Shiprocket tracking system for your order.

Order Processing Time

●      Standard products: 2–3 business days from order confirmation before handover to our courier partner.

●      Custom/personalised products: 5–7 business days from design confirmation before handover to our courier partner. See our Custom and Personalised Orders Policy for full details.

●      Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed starting the next business day.

●      During peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and other high-demand periods), processing times may extend by an additional 2–3 business days. We will notify you by WhatsApp or email if your order is affected.

Shipping Partners

We ship exclusively through Shiprocket, which assigns the most suitable courier partner for each delivery based on your pincode, package weight, and courier availability in your area. Depending on these factors, your order may be delivered by BlueDart, Delhivery, Ekart, Xpressbees, DTDC, India Post, or another Shiprocket partner. We cannot guarantee or accommodate requests for a specific courier partner in advance.

Delivery Timelines

These timelines apply after dispatch and are counted in business days:

Metro to Metro

3–5 business days

Metro to Non-Metro

These timelines are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by weather, natural disasters, courier strikes, regional restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control are not the responsibility of Thooriga Art Studio, and we are unable to offer compensation for such delays.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, we will send a tracking link via WhatsApp and/or email. You can also track your shipment directly on the Shiprocket tracking portal using the Air Waybill (AWB) number provided to you.

Shipping Charges

Shipping is free on all orders above 500 INR. 

Cash on Delivery (COD)

COD is available at select pincodes as determined by Shiprocket's courier network, and eligibility is shown automatically at checkout based on your delivery pincode. Additional COD handling charges may apply and will be shown at checkout.

Customers who refuse a COD order at the doorstep or return it without a valid reason under this policy will be blocked from placing future COD orders with Thooriga Art Studio. Repeated COD refusals may result in the customer being blocked from placing any future orders with us, at our sole discretion.

Failed Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners make up to 3 delivery attempts per order. If delivery is unsuccessful after 3 attempts, or if the package is not collected from the local courier facility within the applicable holding period, the package will be returned to Thooriga Art Studio.

●      Re-delivery, where possible, will incur additional shipping charges payable by the customer.

●      No refund will be issued for packages returned to us due to customer unavailability or an incorrect/incomplete address supplied at checkout.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Thooriga Art Studio is not responsible for delivery delays or failures caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of checkout. If an order is returned to us because of a wrong or incomplete address, any re-shipping charges will be borne entirely by the customer.

Damaged in Transit

We package every product with care, but if your order arrives damaged in transit, you must claim this within 5 days of the delivery date, and your claim must be supported by a mandatory continuous, unedited unboxing video showing the sealed package and the damage on opening. Claims made without this video will not be processed, regardless of the circumstances. Full details of this requirement and the claims process are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

Non-Serviceable Pincodes

Some pincodes are not serviceable by any of Shiprocket's partner couriers. If your pincode is non-serviceable, our checkout system will notify you, or our team will reach out via WhatsApp to discuss alternative arrangements where possible.

International Shipping

At this time, Thooriga Art Studio ships within India only. We do not currently offer international shipping.

Our Rights

Thooriga Art Studio reserves the right to:

●      Refuse to ship an order to any address or customer at our discretion, including where fraud signals or repeated delivery failures are present

●      Modify shipping charges, timelines, and serviceable areas at any time without prior notice

●      Cancel any order before dispatch and issue a full refund in cases including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity
